The clients initially approached us asking for advice on how to gain the most value to sell their home. They desired a total upgrade in their living space that better matched their aesthetics and current lifestyle. Despite a small, cramped kitchen, and many areas of under-utilized space, this older home held much potential. We worked together with our interior design partner to design a plan that opened up and modernized the space. We moved walls, reframed, renovated the entire kitchen, added a new entryway with side light, matched existing oak to create dramatic new wood flooring, added artistic lighting, and painted. The flow and function of the space were enhanced in every way, from practical shelving to new custom cabinets, tile, and counter tops. The result was a total upgrade so beautiful that the owners decided keeping their home was far better than selling it!
